How did the Caribbean Motor Racing Sim Club begin?
CMRSC was founded in 2021 by Rahul Nasseir. It began with a group of guys who didn’t have a place to race, coming together to build their own community. When the idea from Martin Webster was pitched to Rahul Nasseir and his father, Danny Nasseir, to start racing while creating a new and better community, Rahul took it as an opportunity to build a new platform and as it got going, they called it "CMRSC", a play on words of GMRSC (Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club). The league wasn't without its critics in the beginning, and as such, in 2022, Rahul Nasseir hung up the gloves and went into full-time commentary with a goal to become the biggest sim racing league in the Caribbean and eventually the Sim Racing Landscape as a whole.
CMRSC would not have been possible without its founding members, including Martin Webster, Marlon Younge, Lance Nasseir, Danny Nasseir, Sean Lee, Claus Klint, Azaad Hassan, Afraz Allie, and Justin Nasseir.
Caribbean Motor Racing Sim Club, today, continues to break down barriers, showcasing the next generation of sim racing drivers and future motorsport prospects by weekly live streams and daily uploads on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
